Thoracic surgery refers to the surgical treatment of organs inside the chest, such as the lungs, chest wall, esophagus and diaphragm. It excludes treatment of the heart.

Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Surgical techniques to change the appearance and function of a person's body. Procedures include both cosmetic enhancements as well as functionally reconstructive operations.


Vascular surgery includes treatment of all vessels outside the heart


Surgery of the eye


The surgical specialty deals with health of the female reproductive system (uterus, vagina and ovaries).


Urology focuses on the urinary tracts of males and females, and on the reproductive system of males.
