La Grange – Reservations are now being accepted for the La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation’s
Annual Gala, “Light up the Night.”
The Gala will take place at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Burr Ridge Marriott, 1200 Burr Ridge Parkway. Individual tickets cost $250, while a table of 10 can be purchased for $2,500. Various sponsorships are also available.
Event proceeds will support the Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital
Patient Care Center and be matched with a grant from the Community Memorial Foundation. The matching grant will expire at the close of the calendar year, and a successful gala event is viewed as a vital step in reaching the grant’s ambitious $5 million goal.
“The support our community provides through the Gala is so essential to the Foundation,” said Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital Wound Care Center
Medical Director Dr. Fatima Jaffer, who is working as one of the event’s co-chairs. “Because of the generosity of the Gala’s supporters and donors, the Foundation can help the hospital fulfill its healing mission.”
The year’s Gala, which is black tie optional, is a back-to-basics affair, without a raffle or auction. The night will feature dinner as well as a musical performance by the band Spoken Four. The group features music from the 50s to today’s Top 40, and will supply tunes to help Gala attendees dance the night away.
“The music we have planned for this year’s Gala will be fantastic,” said Jeanne Reilly, Foundation board member and co-chair for the event. “We’re very excited to host Spoken Four and everyone who attends will enjoy their musical repertoire.”
