Thanks to Hinsdale South High School for Donating Toys for Kids at AHH
About 20 high school students stopped by Adventist Hinsdale Hospital on Wednesday, December 19th to donate toys for the hospital’s patients.
Hinsdale South High School psychology students collected about 1,800 toys for donation. The toys are given out to children in AHH’s Pediatric Unit, Behavioral Health Unit and the Emergency Department throughout the year.
This is the sixth year Hinsdale South students have participated in the Kids Helping Kids Toy Drive. Following the toy drop-off, students were given a tour of both the AHH Emergency Department and Pediatric Unit.
Students also handed out stuffed animals to Pediatric Unit patients during the visit. View the slideshow below to see highlights.
