Class size: Approx. 70 high-school/college students. Must be 16 years by June 11th.
Registration submissions: Immediately upon submitting your application you will receive confirmation it was received. This is not a guarantee of enrollment.
Fees: i-Body fees are non-refundable and due at acceptance. The cost is $500 for the main session and $200 for the optional 3-morning enrichment sessions. No refunds: If you are unable to attend, your tuition payment will be receipted as a charitable donation. Payment instructions will be included in the acceptance email that comes within 48 hours of application submission.
I-Body is an interactive health and human body summer camp designed for high school and college students, 16 years and older, who are interested in health care careers.
You'll spend two fascinating weeks (nine afternoons) learning about organ systems and interacting with AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center Hinsdale physicians, nurses and other specialists in the field.
Our I-Body program reflects AMITA Health's mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus.
-operating rooms wired for live interactive observation and participation;
-fresh bovine organs for hands-on dissection;
-opportunities to shadow physicians, nurses, pharmacists or administrators;
-rotating specialties each year; and
-insight into the health care system and anticipated changes.
