Adventist Hinsdale Hospital nurses transform the care and lives of their patients each and every day.
Nurse schedules and staffing are designed based on this philosophy. The number of nurses and caregivers on any unit are determined by analyzing the patients on the units and the skills necessary to meet their needs. These decisions are reviewed and changed by a qualified nurse on the unit at least every four hours, or sooner if needed. Staffing decisions are made using the American Nurses Association's Principles for Nurse Staffing, Second Edition, 2012.
Any member of the general public may request information about our nurse staffing levels, in accordance with the Illinois Hospital Report Card Act
