La Grange – The La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Holder to its board of directors. Holder, a stock broker for professional investors, is a member of the La Grange Village Board and of several area committees and boards. He is eager to serve the Foundation as a board member.
“We’re thrilled to have someone who is so passionate about his community on our Foundation board,” said executive director Brett Skeen. “His strategic planning abilities, as well as financial and technological skills, will be an asset to us.”
Since 1998, Holder has served on the La Grange Village Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and Plan Commission. In 2004, he joined the finance committee of School District 105, which he still serves. In 2005, Holder was the co-chair for Citizens for Community Schools.
“Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital is an important community asset,” Holder said. “I’m proud to give my time to an organization with such a critical role in our community.”
Holder is a graduate of Cornell University and Cobleskill College, both in New York. He has also taught various courses in IBM executive development, strategic consulting and finance. He and his wife, Denise, have two children.
