Bolingbrook, IL – David L. Crane, president and chief executive officer of Adventist Midwest Health, has been elected to a three-year term on the Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council’s 18-member board of directors. The Chicago-based organization comprises more than 140 hospitals and health care organizations working together to improve the delivery of health care services in the Chicago area.
A Hinsdale resident, Crane came to Adventist Midwest Health from Littleton Adventist Hospital in Littleton, Colo., where he was president and chief executive officer. Other institutions for which Crane has served include St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and Mercy Health Partners in Toledo, Ohio, and Centura Health in Denver.
Crane is an alumnus of Union College in Lincoln, Neb., and holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla.
