Hospital employees to learn workplace violence survival tips

Media invited to cover seminar at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital


Summary: Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital employees will learn workplace violence survival tips from Hinsdale Police Officer Mike Coughlin when he presents a workshop at the hospital. Media are invited to cover the seminar, which takes place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 at the hospital, 5101 S. Willow Springs Road, La Grange.


La Grange – A shooter in the hospital isn’t just the stuff of “Grey’s Anatomy” or other medical TV dramas. Workplace violence is a real life threat to hospital employees. Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital employees are scheduled to learn workplace violence survival tips at an upcoming workshop. The training seminar will include a live demonstration and a video presentation.

 


Hosted by Hinsdale Police Officer Mike Coughlin, the one-hour workshop will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in Dixon auditorium at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, 5101 S. Willow Springs Road, La Grange. Media are invited to cover the event and interview hospital employees about what they learn.
