Adventist Hinsdale Hospital offers
variety of exercise programs
Hinsdale, IL – If you’ve made a resolution to get fit this New Year, consider joining one of the exercise/wellness classes offered by Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.
Upcoming classes include:
Advanced Circuit Training: Perform total body strengthening and cardiovascular condition under the supervision of individuals with training in orthopedic rehabilitation. Various times are available. $75 orientation fee; and a $42 monthly fee.
Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program: Participants are guided through a series of range of motion, stretching and strengthening exercises. Co-sponsored with the Arthritis Foundation of Greater Chicago Chapter. Call for class availability and times.
Aquatic Exercise Classes: Participants practice warm-water exercises for range of motion, stretching and strengthening. Designed for individuals with fibromyalgia, arthritis, back pain or other joint limitations. Various times are available. Cost is $42 monthly.
Keep it Moving Small Group Exercise Class: Class incorporates stretching, balance and strengthening using weights and is led by a licensed physical therapist. Classes are at 11:15 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost is $200 a month.
Therapeutic Massage: Massage is considered a preventive ingredient to a health routine for its aid in decreasing stress and muscle tension. Cost is $55 for a 45-minute massage; $65 for a 60-minute massage.
