Bolingbrook – Bolingbrook resident Linda Hou has been appointed to Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation’s board of directors. Through fund raising and financial support, the foundation supports Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital’s mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ.
“Linda is committed to being a positive force in her community,” said Derek Cazeau, executive director of the Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation. “She brings to our board a wealth of experience in business and community relations.”
Hou is president of American Chrome Company, her family’s business in Bolingbrook. The company is a supplier to the truck and RV industries.
Hou is a member of the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce. She returned to this area in 2008 from Greensboro, N.C., where she held numerous volunteer posts, including leadership positions in women’s professional organizations and in Asian-American professional groups.
She earned her master’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California in Los Angeles where she majored in psychology.
She enjoys staying active through hiking and walking, and being with her daughter, Kristen.
