Adventist Hinsdale Hospital’s Still Missed Program
Sponsors Support Groups
Hinsdale, IL – The Still Missed Support Group of Adventist Hinsdale Hospital offers support groups for parents who have lost a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth or a newborn death. In the group, parents can express their feelings, share memories and work toward healing.
The Still Missed Parent Support Group meets from 7:30 to 9 p.m. the second Monday of each month in the parlor room on the main floor of Tupper Hall, 119 N. Oak St., Hinsdale. Parking is available in the adjacent parking garage, designated for employees.
Upcoming topics include:
“Preparing for the Holiday Season” on Nov. 13, which will offer techniques for getting through the season.
“Sharing What Helps” on Dec. 11, featuring tips on simple and meaningful rituals ways to remember the baby.
A Grandparents Support Group on Nov. 13 will focus on ways for grandparents to remember the baby and make it through the holidays.
The Subsequent Pregnancy Support Group meets on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in Tupper Hall parlor, 119 N. Oak St., Hinsdale. Upcoming topics include: “During the Holidays and Beyond” on Nov. 20 and “Maintaining Hope” on Dec. 18.
