Adventist Hinsdale Hospital names

New Nursing Director of Rehabilitation

 Hinsdale, IL – Adventist Hinsdale Hospital has appointed Colleen Bradway, CRRN, RN, BSN, as nursing director of rehabilitation.

            “I am absolutely delighted to have Colleen (Bradway) join our team,” said Jann Marks, RN, CNAA, MBA, vice president and chief nursing officer for Adventist Hinsdale Hospital. “Colleen’s passion for rehabilitation patients provides an incredible foundation as we continue our journey to grow this program.”

            Bradway has more than 21 years experience of nursing experience in the rehabilitation field, including 17 years in a management capacity along with 17 years as CRRN. Her most recent experience is as program manager of the inpatient rehabilitation unit at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations along with staff development and ensuring regulatory compliance.

            Before that, Bradway was general rehabilitation coordinator at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago where she provided clinical and administrative assistance for the case management team along with monitoring and providing action plans for clinical pathways.

            She is excited about her new position. “I look forward to beginning my career at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and using my skills and experience to further develop the rehabilitation program,” Bradway said.

            She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Saint Xavier College in Chicago and is a certified rehabilitation registered nurse. Bradway is a member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses.

An Oak Forest resident, Bradway enjoys scrapbooking and coaching cheerleading. She has been married to David for 22 years, and they have three children – Logan, 18, Caitlin, 16, and Austin, 13.
