Bolingbrook – Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital announces the appointment of Tammy Koslenko, RN, MS, TNS, ACLS, of Des Plaines, as nursing director of the intensive care unit and emergency department. Koslenko brings to the hospital 20 years of experience in clinical management roles.
Most recently, Koslenko served as the director of emergency department/behavioral health services at Norwegian American Hospital of Chicago. There she oversaw a staff of 150, managed a $6 million operating budget and collaborated on its redesign.
In addition, Koslenko brings to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital extensive experience in managing and implementing organizational change and new programs, writing hospital protocols and guidelines, cross training staff and improving customer service and quality.
Koslenko is currently pursuing her master’s degree in nursing. She received her master’s degree in health administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, her bachelor’s degree in health arts at the College of St. Francis in Joliet and her diploma of nursing from the Illinois Masonic Medical Center School of Nursing.
