You will stay with the Day Surgery staff until you feel well enough to go home (usually within 1 - 2 hours). You will be offered something to eat/drink and will be given discharge instructions regarding your care and activity.

You cannot drive yourself home if you had anesthesia or IV sedation. Make arrangements ahead of time to have someone drive you home.
