Insurance

Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital shall provide Resident with comprehensive Health, Dental and vision insurance in accordance with the hospital’s employee benefits plan. The hospital also provides a Basic AD&D life insurance coverage (1x annual earnings) for full time employees.

Membership
American Academy of Family Physicians
American Osteopathic Association
American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians

Licenses
Illinois Medical License (temporary)
DEA if applied for during 3rd year.
USMLE-3/COMLEX-3 (if taken during residency)

Certifications
NRP, PALS and ALSO certifications
ABFM Board Certification
AOA Board Certification

Time Off

Resident is given 20 paid days off during each academic year. The days must be used during that academic year, they can not be carried over or paid out at the end of the academic year.

Continuing Medical Education

(May be used for national or local meetings, journals, and/or software)
Residents are given 5 CME days per year.

PGY 1: $400.00 reimbursement
PGY 2: $500.00 reimbursement
PGY 3: $900.00 reimbursement

Meal Stipend (On Call)

$10.00 per meal

Lab Coats

Two lab coats furnished each year.
