Complete Your Clinical Pastoral Education with Adventist Midwest Health
Adventist Midwest Health is an accredited center of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). Our CPE Center offers Level One and Level Two programs in two part-time units.
The CPE program provides a supportive context for exploring the significance of stories—the patient’s and our own. This multi-faceted program involves the traditional, experiential, action-reflection model of learning where students share their reports of ministry with peers and supervisor for consultation in a group setting. Each CPE group becomes a learning community that provides focused opportunities in group seminars and direct patient care for enhancing spiritual care skills and learning the theory that supports these skills.
