Our skilled physical therapists can provide rehabilitation services to help you recover from an injury or long-term health issue.
Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital Physical Therapy Services Include:
Neurological Physical Therapy
This form of therapy specializes in treating people who have difficulty moving because of disease or nervous system injury. People diagnosed with ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injuries can have issues with balance, vision, movement or speech. Neurological physical therapy with one of our specialists can help you retain your ability to function.
Orthopedic Physical Therapy
Orthopedic physical therapy can help people experiencing back and neck pain, shoulder problems, muscle strains, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and various other issues with the musculoskeletal system. Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital's therapists specializing in orthopedic physical therapy can help you move better and experience less pain through therapeutic exercise and education.
Patients who undergo therapeutic massage as part of their physical therapy do so to relieve pain and to assist in their recovery from injury. Therapeutic massage can be a valuable part of your Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital rehabilitation wellness program, decreasing the pain you experience, as well as anxiety or stress, while increasing your range of motion.
