- Patient will be given preparation instructions from physician prior to procedure.
- Patient will arrive one hour prior to procedure on their scheduled day.
- Upon arrival, staff will begin preparation and education for procedure.
- Patient will be gowned and IV will be placed for IV conscious sedation to be administered during procedure.
- Patient recovery phase generally lasts 30-60 minutes.
- Final instructions and education are given prior to discharge.
