Gastroenterology

At the Gastroenterology (GI) Department of Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital we believe our education and prevention efforts produce a domino effect throughout the community that can help save lives.

We take the time to properly educate our patients and their families to help increase their understanding of disease prevention methods and/or disease processes.

A positive overall patient experience is very important to us and we do everything we can to ensure that occurs. It is our mission and philosophy to provide compassion and care to each patient and their family.

We provide a full range of gastroenterology care and treatment, starting with a state-of-the-art Endoscopy Lab, a highly experienced staff, including nurses experienced in endoscopy nursing and training in advanced cardiac life support, Board Certified gastroenterologists, pulmonologists and surgeons.

Our GI Lab is a self-contained area including private prep rooms, two endoscopy suites, a recovery area and family waiting room.

Endoscopy services are located on the 2nd floor of Adventist LaGrange Memorial Hospital, near the Surgery department. We are open Monday thru Friday, with a full schedule on Saturday as well. Emergency coverage is available 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays.
