Hinsdale – Adventist
Midwest Health launched a new and improved Web site at www.keepingyouwell.com. The new site
has a completely new look and feel with new content and improved graphics and capabilities.
It allows visitors to view and register for current classes and events, send
e-cards to patients, and find a listing of doctors who treat patients at
Adventist Midwest Health hospitals.
Web site visitors can read moving
patient stories that demonstrate the quality and compassion of the hospitals’
staff and physicians, request a prayer, learn about volunteering, and learn
more about the hospital’s cutting edge services and related health news. A new
feature, called My Health News, allows visitors to create a customized
newsletter subscription based on health topics they choose. Research shows that
patients value electronic communication and the ability to access a wealth of
health information at their fingertips.
Other enhancements include:
information about cancer care, women’s health, cardiovascular services,
pediatrics, geriatrics, interventional radiology, neurology and a myriad
of other services,
- new interactive
tools and capabilities,
maps for each hospital, and
tours of each hospital.
“We want our Web site to be the trusted
source for local consumers seeking information on health services available at
our hospitals in addition to the latest health news and wellness tips,” said
John Ruhl, associate vice president, marketing at Adventist Midwest Health.
Adventist Midwest Health includes Adventist
Bolingbrook Hospital, Adventist
Hospital and Adventist La Grange
