Two doctors will be at the event to help guide you through the stressful symptoms of hot flashes, fatigue, heavy bleeding and fibroids.
From 6 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 3, Dr. Naheed Akhter, who specializes in obstetrics/genecology, and Dr. Patricia Madej, who specializes in hematology/oncology, will be presenting on the pre-and post-menopausal stages of a woman’s life. This will be an informal, panel discussion on subjects such as; menopause, irregular bleeding, hormone therapy, hot flashes, and how simple lifestyle changes can reduce the risks of breast cancer. This event will be held at Butterfield Country Club, 2800 Midwest Rd., Oak Brook.
