Volunteering offers an opportunity to meet new people and develop friendships, learn new skills, build self-confidence and gain personal satisfaction.  The experience adult volunteers bring to the hospital is quite valuable.  For teens and college students, learning to be responsible in a work-like environment can prepare you for future employment and give you insight into the medical profession.  For everyone, it can be fun and exciting!
