Capital Campaign
New Patient Pavilion & Planned Cancer and Outpatient Center
This is a very exciting time at the Hospital as we transform our existing facility into a comprehensive, state-of-the art, 21st century health care environment. The new patient pavilion with its private patient suites offers the best new medicine in a family-friendly environment, including space to accommodate overnight visitors.
Our new Cancer and Outpatient Center, envisioned for Ogden Avenue near the Tri-State Tollway, will be an architecturally and functionally unique campus focused on delivery of highest quality care close to home.
These projects represent the biggest modernization undertaking ever at the hospital and reflect a unique partnership between the hospital and Foundation as we work with the community to raise $22 million in support of the "Your Family, Your Health, Our Commitment" capital campaign.

Birck Family Birth Center
We’ve seen a tremendous growth in volume in our Birck Family Birth Center Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery (NICU), and we’ve responded with a commitment to ensure that every baby born into our care has the best possible start in life. The Birck Family Center, where over 3,000 babies are born every year, also includes the Maternal Fetal Medicine Center. This program for expectant mothers with high-risk pregnancies is another area where we support Adventist Hinsdale Hospital in its century-long role as a local leader in maternity care.

Rooney Heart
Rooney Heart at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital provides a full range of state-of-the-art treatment, rehabilitation, and preventative services for cardiac patients. Among its achievements, Rooney Heart has some of the best cardiac emergency treatment times reported in the American College of Cardiology database.
Donations to the Foundation for Rooney Heart support cardiac services through investments in innovative technology as well as community outreach and awareness programs.

Pediatrics
By combining state-of-the-art technology with a friendly atmosphere, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital’s Pediatrics Department ensures the best experience for children in a setting that makes everyone feel right at home.
Its nurses, technicians, and board-certified pediatricians are dedicated to providing the highest level of care through a comprehensive spectrum of pediatric programs and services. Your gift to the Pediatrics Department will support innovative treatment options and a comforting, healing environment for children of all ages.
Adventist Paulson Pediatric Rehabilitation Center
Adventist Paulson Pediatric Rehabilitation Center serves children ages 0-18 with developmental disabilities through speech, physical, and occupational therapy to foster their maximum functional independence.
Many of the children served have diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, autism, pervasive developmental disorder, and speech delay. Donations in support of Adventist Paulson Pediatric Rehabilitation Center provide for new equipment and advanced therapies that benefit children served through the program.

Adventist St. Thomas Hospice & Adventist St. Thomas Palliative Care
Adventist St. Thomas Hospice is a full-service hospice that is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. In addition to compassionate end-of-life care, Adventist St. Thomas Hospice offers grief counseling and support groups for kids, teens and adults at no charge.
Gifts to the Foundation for Adventist St. Thomas Hospice support staff education and the Hospice’s bereavement services including Tommy’s Kids Camp for children who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Adventist St. Thomas Palliative Care is a program we proudly began in 2010.
Palliative care is designed to relieve or soothe the symptoms of a serious disease or disorder to improve a patient’s quality of life and, it is important to note, is available at any stage in a serious illness, whether that illness is curable, chronic or life-threatening.

Koplin Family Emergency & Trauma Center
As a Level II trauma center, the Koplin Family Emergency & Trauma Center offers convenient, high-quality urgent care for the entire family. The Center is certified as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP), recognizing its capabilities for delivering critical care to children.

Nursing Education

Spiritual Care
Adventist Hinsdale Hospital understands that spiritual care is an important part of the healing process. Our Pastoral Care Services provides spiritual and emotional care with Christian compassion and thoughtful service. We minister to our patients through bedside visits and prayers, spiritual guidance and crisis support, referrals to community clergy, grief support groups, and worship and devotion services in the chapel.
