The Rooney Heart Center at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital provides state-of-the-art treatment and rehabilitation services for cardiac patients as well as educational programs. Open-heart surgery procedures, including coronary artery bypass valve replacements and Maze procedures are offered, as well as coronary angioplasty, drug-eluting stents and brachytherapy.
 
Our programming is designed to speed heart attack patients from the Emergency Department to treatment in the shortest time possible. We have some of the best cardiac emergency treatment times reported in the American College of Cardiology database. Through Adventist Cardiovascular Network, a full range of cardiac services, from diagnosis to treatment are available, using the latest, most advanced technologies.

For decades, Adventist Cardiovascular Network has been a leader in cardiovascular health – bringing some of the region’s finest physicians, facilities and technology to four convenient locations in Western Cook and DuPage counties. Adventist Cardiovascular Network is directly involved in bringing wellness screenings and prevention programs to the communities we serve. A team of more than 75 board-certified physicians with experience in a variety of cardiovascular specialties perform more than 60,000 cardiac diagnostic procedures each year, as well as 300 open heart surgeries per year, including valve and beating heart surgery. In addition, the nursing staff specializes in cardiac care and provides a nurturing environment for patients to heal.
