Hinsdale Opler Cancer Center
The Opler Cancer Center at Hinsdale Hospital provides a full continuum of services – from prevention and early detection to diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. A member of the Adventist Cancer Network, the center provides patients a full range of services, including access to experimental drugs and treatment protocols. Backed by the latest cancer technologies, we also strive to meet the emotional, spiritual and educational needs of cancer patients and their families.
The Opler Cancer Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons as a Approved Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. It is one of the few centers in Illinois to offer tertiary-level cancer services, such as autologous bone marrow transplants, prostate seed implants, radiosurgery, hyperthermia treatments, and experimental options. While we take great pride in this recognition and delivering university-level health care in our own communities, we are especially pleased with the relationships we develop with our extended family of cancer survivors, many of whom remain in touch with us long after they go home.
As medical science continues to take quantum leaps in preventing and treating cancer, Adventist Cancer Network specialists make those advances readily available. Expert radiation oncologists from the University of Chicago use the latest radiation oncology treatments and technologies to aid in the treatment process. At the Adventist Cancer Network, patients have access to more than 75 clinical trials covering a wide range of cancers and blood disorders, providing new ways to detect, treat and defeat cancer.
