Where is the hospital located?
Adventist GlenOaks Hospital is located at 701 Winthrop Ave., Glendale Heights. Winthrop Avenue is a half-mile north of North Avenue, and just east of Glen Ellyn Road.
What are visiting hours?
Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily. Certain inpatient units may have special hours. Call 630-545-8000 for information.
Where can I go for pre-testing?
Some doctors may request their patients undergo pre-testing before a scheduled surgery. At Adventist GlenOaks Hospital, pre-admission testing is located on the second floor in same-day surgery.
What should I bring with me if I am having tests done?
Bring a doctor’s order, your insurance card, a driver’s license or other photo ID. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent.
Where do I go to pay my hospital bill?
To the onsite cashier who is located on the second floor. Checks, credit cards, or cash are accepted. The cashier’s office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday. For information, call 630-545-5463.
Do you accept my insurance?
Review the provider directory provided by your insurance company which should list hospitals and physicians covered by your insurance.
Call the telephone number on the back of your insurance card and ask a customer service representative if the facility is covered.

Who do I contact to arrange an interpreter?
To request interpreter services, contact the registration staff or call the main number at 630-545-8000 and ask the operator for assistance.
Can I speak to a nurse at your hospital?
The nursing staff is unable to give medical advice over the phone. Contact your family physician for answers to medical concerns. If you do not have a physician, call 630-856-7500 to ask for a physician referral. TDD patients can dial 630-856-6533 for physician referrals.
Is there free parking at your facility?
Free parking is available in front of the main entrance.
