Your gift to the GlenOaks Hospital Foundation plays an important role in building a healthier future for our community.  By supporting the GlenOaks Hospital Foundation, you are helping the Hospital to build or enhance its facilities, purchase the most advanced medical equipment for diagnosing and treating disease, and offer programs aimed at preventing illness and improving the experience for patients and families who come to GlenOaks Hospital.

With generous support from our donors, GlenOaks Hospital Foundation supports a multitude of programs, services and resources that ultimately improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve.  The Foundation provides support for:

* Better facilities to meet your healthcare needs.  In 2006-07, for example, the Foundation promoted a capital campaign to build a brand-new Emergency Department at Adventist GlenOaks Hospital. The new “no waiting room” Emergency is six times the size of the former ER and is designed to treat patients quickly, effectively and comfortably.

In 2008, Foundation’s capital campaign focuses on rebuilding and expanding surgical suites at Adventist GlenOaks Hospital.

* Ongoing education for young adults interested in healthcare careers.  Our Health Careers Scholarship is available to any graduating high school student who plans to pursue a health-related career.
