Adventist GlenOaks Hospital is the first hospital in Illinois with a “no waiting room” Emergency Department. That means quicker care for patients and less stress for families. With our new system, we’ve cut the Emergency Department experience from an Illinois average over 3.5 hours to an average of less than 2 hours—from arrival, through tests and treatment, to departure. Our “15 minutes or less” means patients with urgent needs are seen by an emergency physician in 15 minutes or less
