‘Lights, Camera, Action!’ to benefit hospital foundation
Bolingbrook – The Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation will hold a two-day gala celebration – “Lights, Camera, Action! A Red Carpet Affair” – in October at the new Gold Class Cinemas at the Promenade. The event will benefit Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital and will feature Academy-Award winning movies, live jazz music, canapés, food, and refreshments.
An exclusive sponsors event will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 22 and a community event will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 24. Cocktail attire is suggested. Tickets are $150 per person or $250 per couple. Sponsorships ranging from $500 to $10,000 are available. Tickets will be available for pickup at the cinema the night of the event.
“This gala is a chance for the community to support a worthy cause while getting a sneak peak at the new Gold Class Cinemas before it opens to the public,” said Michael Evans, gala chairman and foundation board member.
The event is the foundation’s major fundraiser of 2009. The Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation furthers Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital’s mission through philanthropy.
“Though we have yet to celebrate our second birthday, Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital already has been recognized as an integral part of the fabric of this community – yet our many accomplishments mean little without the overwhelming support we’ve received from the community,” said Derek Cazeau, executive director of the Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation. “For that we are truly grateful.”
Gold Class Cinemas is located at 619 E. Boughton Road. “We are honored to partner with Gold Class Cinemas, our host for this event,” said Rick Mace, chief executive officer, Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. “Their generosity is appreciated.”
