Bolingbrook – Busy executives who lack time for proper preventative health care may now take advantage of a new executive health program at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.
With an emphasis on early detection and prevention of illness, executives will receive a thorough medical, physical and nutritional evaluation. The program offers three packages designed to streamline any necessary exams, tests and referrals.
“Many executives experience a high level of stress that may place them at risk for weight gain or hypertension,” said Jillyan Shelton, director of ambulatory and support services. “We can guide them to select the package that best suits their health concerns and customize it to the level of service they need.”
The hospital’s executive health coordinators will schedule all appointments, provide an itinerary for the day, assist in locating departments and coordinate referrals.
“Our goal is to give them a focused picture of their health in a day and a half and create a plan to keep them healthy,” Shelton said.
For the executive’s convenience, the hospital features an executive health lounge to ensure privacy, accommodate phone calls and provide Internet access.
“Utilizing our state-of-the-art facility and exemplary clinical staff, this program provides executives with the exceptional services Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital is known for,” said Rick Mace, chief executive officer of Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. “This program is a great opportunity to take care of yourself in one of the nation’s best health care systems.”
