Hospital foundation board appoints new members

Bolingbrook – The Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of three civic leaders to its board of directors: Tom Castagnoli, of Naperville, Ricardo Morales, of Bolingbrook and Thomas F. Prisby, of Hinsdale. The foundation furthers the mission of Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital through philanthropy.

“We are honored these three dedicated community members have decided to serve on our board,” said Derek Cazeau, executive director of the Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation.

Castagnoli has worked in retail property management since 1987. For 20 years, he was with Urban Retail, where he managed four Chicago-area malls: Fox Valley, Louis Joliet, North Riverside and Randhurst. Last year, Castagnoli joined Forest City and The Promenade of Bolingbrook. Through the managing of these malls, he has worked with many chambers of Commerce along with other local community groups.

“Serving on Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation’s board gives me a chance to give back to the community,” Castagnoli said.

Morales is vice president of Park National Bank in Naperville and actively participates in his community. Since 2001, Morales has served as a Bolingbrook village trustee and he also serves on the village’s public works and finance committees. He also serves on the Illinois Procurement Policy board and the Bolingbrook Fire Pension Board. Morales is past president of the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce and from 2002-2004 served on a committee that organized the March of Dimes’ annual March for Babies Walk in Bolingbrook.

“Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital is one of Will County’s crown jewels,” Morales said. “We are very proud to have a medical facility that provides high-quality professional health services in our community.”

Morales has nothing but praise for Adventist Midwest Health ever since he and his wife received excellent service at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital during the birth of their two children.

Thomas F. Prisby is the chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Citizens Financial Bank (which includes 22 banks in northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana), its holding company CFS Bancorp, Inc. and its subsidiary CFS Holdings, Ltd., and Citizens Savings Foundation. He is a member of St. Margaret Mercy Health Care Mission Services and Human Resource Committee and serves on the board of advisors for the Catherine McAuley Clinic. Both groups are associated with the hospital. He also serves as a corporate representative for various civic and charitable organizations in Illinois and Indiana.

“Supporting Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital’s mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ is truly a privilege,” Prisby said.

Rick Mace, chief executive officer of Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, said he appreciates the dedication of these three new board members. “The foundation, and in turn, our hospital, will benefit from their knowledge and experience,” Mace said.
