Bolingbrook – To commemorate National Heart Month, Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital will offer a series of heart screenings at reduced rates during February.
Knowing your risk factors, such as high cholesterol or blocked arteries, is crucial in preventing heart disease. Early detection and treatment, as well as a healthy diet and regular exercise, can reduce your risk of heart disease and heart attacks.
Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital is offering the following heart screenings at the hospital, 500 Remington Blvd. in Bolingbrook:
• Heart Smart – This $35 screening measures total cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterol levels, triglycerides and cholesterol ratio.
• Diabetes Check – This $30 screening measures blood sugar levels.
• Sweetheart – This $40 screening includes a lipid profile, diabetes screening and blood typing.
• Heart Score – This series of tests for $50 includes a cardiac risk assessment, total cholesterol test, HDL cholesterol level check, blood pressure assessment, blood sugar test, body fat, personal lifestyle analysis and EKG. These tests have a value of $400.
Registration is required for all screenings. To register, call (630) 856-7525.
