Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation Receives Best of Bolingbrook Award
Bolingbrook - The Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation was honored to receive the Best of Bolingbrook Business Award for the Civic/Non-Profit category Thursday evening at the 11th Annual Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce Best of Bolingbrook Business Awards event.
The Foundation was one of three esteemed nominees in this category including Valley View School District and P.O.W.E.R Connection.
“We are so proud of the work that we do on behalf of the communities we serve and the impact that we are making on healthcare to provide better services and technology to those in need,” said Derek Cazeau, executive director of the Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation. “Our work could not be done without the continued support of our donors, Board of Directors, staff and volunteers. We are honored to be able to live the mission of Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital by transforming lives through philanthropy.”
The Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to developing lifelong relationships with donors to secure philanthropic gifts that enhance and support the mission of Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. The Foundation provides the resources necessary to enhance the patient experience, support our caregivers, live our faith, and help our communities. All funds contributed to the Hospital are used only for their donated purposes, and only for Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. Since 2008 the Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation has funded nearly two million dollars of equipment and services for Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.
“I was very proud and honored Thursday evening at the Annual Best of Bolingbrook Awards, when the Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation was honored the Best Civic/Non-Profit Organization,” said Rick Mace, CEO of Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. “This award is excellent and appropriate recognition for the work that the Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation does in the community on behalf of the hospital. Viewing the video that documented many of our accomplishments validated to me that we are really making a difference in the community for all of the right reasons. It is also a tribute to the volunteers that serve as Board Members on the Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation who give of their time, money, and energy to extend the healing ministry of Christ.”
