How long will my Executive Health physical take?
Most physicals start at 7 a.m. and are completed by noon. You also will receive all your test results at the time of your exam.
Can I use my insurance for the Executive Health Program?
The ABH Executive Health Program is a fee-for-service program that works directly with individuals and corporations. The Executive Health program is not affiliated with any insurance carriers or Medicare.
How much does an Executive Health physical cost?
Dependant upon the program you choose determines the cost of services provided.

What do I wear to my Executive Health physical?
We recommend you wear loose, comfortable clothing. For your treadmill stress test, please bring athletic shoes.
Can I eat before my Executive Health exam?
Please do not eat or drink anything except water for at least 12 hours prior to your appointment. After your blood is drawn for lab tests we will provide you with a breakfast of your choice.
Will the physician I see during my Executive Health physical become my doctor?
It is the recommendation of the Executive Health Program that everyone have a primary care physician (PCP). If you do not already have a PCP, we encourage you to establish care with one. If appropriate, we can help you establish care with either an Internal Medicine or Family Practice doctor in the Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital system.
Why don’t I get a full body scan as part of the Executive Health Program?
Full body scans, while currently quite popular, have not been proven as a screening test. Additionally, these scans may reveal things that are not significant (false positives). The timing of how often to do these scans, as well as radiation exposure, remains a concern for recommending these tests. We do have the ability to utilize scanning technology, when appropriate for the patient.
Can I get my prescription filled during my Executive Health exam?
Our doctors may write a particular prescription, but in general, prescription medications should be managed by your primary care doctor.
How do I pay for the Executive Health Program?
There are three ways to pay: credit card, check or through a corporate contract with your company.
What if I have to cancel my Executive Health visit?
Please cancel your EHP visit at least 10 business days prior to your visit.
Are the results of my Executive Health appointment kept confidential?
All of your medical information is kept strictly confidential and will never be shared with anyone unless you ask. You will receive a comprehensive test and health assessment results summary. If you request in writing, we can also send your primary doctor or other specialists a copy of your records.
Do I need a referral from my doctor for the Executive Health Program?
No. Our Executive Health Program is a self-referral program. You can make an appointment directly with us.
