The Women’s Imaging Center at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital has been accredited through the American College of Radiology and has received the designation as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
This designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program. Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital is fully accredited in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.
When you see the gold seal of accreditation, you can rest assured that Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital meets the highest level of patient safety standards and image quality. Why? Because it means that the facility and its personnel have gone through a comprehensive review to earn accreditation status by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Among patients and physicians alike, ACR accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in medical imaging.
