Frequently Asked Questions

What are the different ways I can make a gift?

Gifts can be made by check, money order, credit card or stock transfer. You can send us checks and money orders by mail, or fax or call in a credit card donation.

What are the tax benefits of making a contribution?

Any gift for which you do not receive goods or services is fully tax deductible

Can I designate my gift to a specific area of the hospital?

Unrestricted gifts give Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital the greatest flexibility to direct funds to the area where they are needed the most. But you may designate your gift in an area of your choosing, from new technology improvements to patient care and educational programs. You can also recognize a doctor, nurse or other staff member through our Grateful Patient and Family Program.

How will I be recognized for my gift?

All donors receive an acknowledgement, and donors who contribute a total of $1,000 or more in a calendar year will be listed in the Foundation's annual report.  We will be happy to speak with you about naming opportunities.  In some cases, naming gifts for facilities may be recognized with a dedication ceremony and/or a commemorative plaque.

Who can I call for more information?

Please call the Foundation office at 630-312-6000, or send us an email at derek.cazeau@ahss.org.
