Hinsdale, IL – A 2-mile walk will take place April 6 to raise money for medical supplies and construction materials for a mission trip to rural areas outside of San Jose, Costa Rica. Physicians, nurses and local high school and college students are among the 50 people going on the 10-day trip, organized by the Hinsdale Hospital Medical Staff Auxiliary Junior Board. The group leaves June 8 and hopes to raise $6,000.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. for the 9 a.m. walk. The walk begins at ends at the south campus of Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N. Oak St. The $25 registration fee includes a T-shirt. Dogs are welcome.
