On March 2, Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital welcomed its first set of twins.
Identical twins Jesse and James Kozeluh were born Sunday, March 2 at 5:22 p.m. and 5:33 p.m., respectively, to proud parents Edward and Dana Kozeluh of Bolingbrook.
Dana Kozeluh said she ate much more and felt more kicks during this pregnancy than her previous pregnancies. Jesse, weighed 5 pounds, 4 ounces, and James, weighed in at 5 pounds, 5 ounces. Both newborns were 19 inches tall.
The newborns join big sisters Matilda, 6, and Geroldine, 2, at home. Dr. Michael Ragland, an obstetrician/gynecologist on staff at the hospital, helped deliver the babies.
“The babies came out fine and we’re just very pleased with the outcome,” Ragland said.
Edward Kozeluh is a union roofer and Dana Kozeluh is a stay-at-home mom.
The hospital opened in January.
