Hinsdale – Adventist Hinsdale
Hospital is pleased to
announce the appointment of two leaders to its surgical services team. Sherry
Goldstein, BSN, MA, CNOR, has been named executive director of
perioperative services and Judy Gregorowicz, RN, BSN, has been named assistant
director of perioperative services.
A registered nurse with 24 years of experience,
Goldstein has been a nursing director since 1990. Prior to joining Adventist Hinsdale Hospital,
Goldstein was a healthcare consultant with 18 years of progressive leadership
experience in areas including supply chain and hospital management. She is a
graduate of Northwestern University, earned a master’s degree in healthcare
management from Webster University in St.
Louis, Mo., and
achieved CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification. A Wauconda
resident, Goldstein also was an adjunct instructor at Triton Community College
in River Grove.
Gregorowicz, a Winfield resident, has more than 28
years of operating room experience at several top hospitals in the Chicago region. Before
joining Adventist Hinsdale Hospital,
she served as manager of perioperative services at Central DuPage
Hospital in Winfield. She
earned her RN degree from Ravenswood Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago and
her BSN from Lewis University in Romeoville.
“Sherry and Judy are experienced nursing leaders
who are focused on delivering quality patient care,” said Lesia Douglas, vice
president/chief nursing officer at Adventist
Hinsdale Hospital.
“I am excited to welcome them to our team.”
The appointments were effective Oct. 6. Both are
members of the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN); Goldstein
is president of the organization’s Chicago
chapter.
