Families invited to neonatal intensive care unit reunion

Hinsdale – More than 150 families touched by Adventist Hinsdale Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit are expected to attend a reunion sponsored by the hospital and the Birck Family Women and Children’s Services. The 13th annual Neonatal Graduate Reunion is scheduled 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 at Brookfield Zoo. Media are invited to cover the event. Parents of children who were patients in the intensive care nursery are invited. To register, call (630) 856-7525.

The Birck Family Women’s and Children’s Center is a comprehensive program providing top-level maternity and neonatal care at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital. The center offers a Level III intensive care nursery to stabilize and provide intensive medical and surgical care for critically ill newborns. The Maternal Fetal Medicine Center provides state-of-the-art care to women with high-risk pregnancies. Adventist Hinsdale Hospital has been a leader in maternity care since the turn of the century.
