La Grange – Cathie Kukec, R.T.(R)(QM), radiologic
technology clinical instructor, quality/education specialist and breast care
patient navigator at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, was re-elected
Speaker of the House of Delegates for the American Society of Radiologic
Technologists (ASRT). The House of Delegates serves as the legislative body for
the ASRT, a national 128,000-member professional organization for radiologic
technologists and radiation therapists.
Kukec was re-elected to her second and final term in
June at the annual meeting in Albuquerque,
N.M., and has served as one of
two of Illlinois’ delegates to the society.
“I had a wonderful time presiding over the meeting
and feel that an enormous amount of work was accomplished by the delegates in
the House,” Kukec said.
Kukec, an 18-year employee, lives in Darien.
