Advanced Technology
State-of-the-art equipment at Chippewa Valley Hospital includes an on-site 16-slice CT scanner and a mobile MRI unit that visits twice a week
The hospital soon will add a new “C-Arm” X-ray machine that can be used during general surgery as well as orthopedic and urology procedures to bring doctors real-time images of their patients.
” We strive to deliver the best, most compassionate care to our patients," said Doug Peterson, president and CEO of Chippewa Valley Hospital. "We work hard to bring the kinds of technology to our facility that patients need so they can be cared for within their own community."

In fall 2008, the staff will give recovering heart patients the opportunity to do their rehabilitation work at Chippewa Valley Hospital, instead of making the drive to larger, far away facilities as they presently must do.
Newly hired experts and technicians will make this possible. The hospital also offers sleep studies and diabetic and nutritional counseling.
