Acute Hospitalization
Patients admitted to the hospital due to medical instability or the need for surgery frequently require physical rehabilitation. Whether a patient has a need for intense physical, occupational or speech therapies due to stroke, or has short-term need for learning to walk with crutches following day surgery, the Adventist Paulson Rehab Network is here to meet their needs.
Inpatient Rehabilitation
For those patients having a functional loss that requires more than one therapy per day and who can tolerate several hours of therapy sessions, admission to the Network's inpatient rehabilitation unit may be indicated. There they will find a fully accredited facility with services available around the clock. Tracking of increased independence is closely monitored from admission and throughout their stay to 90 days post-discharge, with therapy adjustments made accordingly. Our annual report highlights our achievements and patient outcomes.
